Step by Step Guide to Selling on Agogo Market

Log in/Register
Click Create Ad Button
Write your Title
Select the Type of ad you want: Sell, Buy, Donate, Rent, Job for Hire, Services Offered
Fill in the price information
Upload up to 8 photos from your phone or computer (horizontal/landscape is best, and not over 3MB files)
Write a description
Select the Category of your item, rental, job or service
Depending on your item, fill out the extra fields that pop up like the Make or Model of your car, condition of the item etc.
Accept the terms and conditions and click Submit Ad

On Your Mobile Phone

Log In / Register

To create an ad on Agogo Market, you must be logged in as a community member. It is easy to register using the options below.

Click the Create Ad button in the top right hand corner of the website.

If you already have an account, you can log in with the email and password you set when you registered.

If you DO NOT have an account yet, it easy to create on in seconds. Click Create one here link at the bottom of the window.

You have 3 choices to create your account:

E-mail/Password: Fill out the form with your username, email and a password to create an account. Accept the terms and conditions and click Register. You will need this information each time you log in to Agogo in the future.
Facebook Login: Simply click the Facebook sign in button. In one click it will create your account using basic information from your Facebook profile. Each time you come back, you will sign in the same way.
Google Login: Simply click the Google sign in button. In one click it will create your account using basic information from your Google account. Each time you come back, you will sign in the same way.

Check your email for a confirmation email from Agogo Market. If you do not see the email, check your spam/junk folder just in case. Or contact us using the chat icon at the bottom left of the site or the contact page.

Create Ad

Click Create Ad button at the top of the site.

Title

Write a descriptive title for your ad. For example: Women’s Steve Madden Sandals Size 7 or 2018 Honda Accord Silver – 4 door

Ad Type

Choose the type of ad you would like to create from the dropdown menu:

SELL – if you are selling anything from household items, produce, a house, your car etc.
BUY – if you are looking to buy things
DONATE – if you are looking to give away items
RENT – if you have a house, apartment, car or other things to rent
JOB FOR HIRE – if you would like to advertise a job
SERVICES OFFERED – if you are a service provider who wants new clients to find you.

Price

Now fill out the price. Do not use a $ sign, or have any commas. If you are flexible on the price, check off “is negotiable?”.

By default prices will be in BBD, but you can also list in USD by selecting the drop down arrow.

Photos (Recommended)

Now it’s time to upload some photos. You are allowed up to 8.
Click Browse Files to be able to choose your photos.

You can use photos from your phone or computer. Most pictures you take on your phone will work just fine. They must be at least 355px x 250px and not more than 3MB each.

We recommend to use horizontal pictures when possible. For more tips, read our guide on taking great pictures.

Photos can only be a maximum of 3MB in file size. Sometimes even pictures we take on our phones can be larger. But you can choose the size to upload. On an iPhone, it looks like this when you select from your camera roll.

Select medium size.

Once you select your photos you can choose which one will be your cover photo or delete a photo using the controls above the preview image. A check mark is for cover photo, the X is to delete. You can also drag the photos into the order you would like them to be.

Videos (Optional)

If you would like to add videos to your ad, you can copy and paste a link from Youtube or Vimeo where your video is hosted. You may add up to 3 videos by clicking + ADD VIDEO

Description (Required)

Write your description. You can use the tool bar at the top to bold text, make lists and format your description just the way you like it. You can include your contact information directly here if you want it to be public.

Extra Details

To help people to find your ad, we ask for some extra details depending on what you are selling, renting, hiring for or providing. People browsing the site can search and filter by these details to find your ad quickly.

Details

Once you have selected your category a few more fields will pop up for you to fill out. We always collect the condition of the item, and other things like Make/Model or size.

If you can’t find your answer in a drop down, you will see a check box for “option missing?”. Check it off, and then enter your information in the boxes it gives you. Here’s an example.

Contact Info

Once you have filled in all of your information you are almost done. If you registered with your phone number, we will already have this on file. If not, you will be asked to add it here.

Note: if you would like to use a different phone number for this ad (and not the one on your profile) uncheck the box to enter it. Users can click to view your phone number, or use our private messaging system to contact you.

Submit Ad

Check off that you accept our terms and conditions and then click on the Submit Ad button. Please note that your ad will be reviewed by our team before it is published to the site. The approval process can take a few minutes to a few hours depending on the volume of ads that are in our queue.

If you have any errors in your form they will show here.

If your ad is submitted successfully, you will see a green confirmation message.

Editing & Boosting Your Ads

Once you have submitted your ad, you will see your list of all ads you have created. Until your ad is approved, the status will show as PENDING. Once approved, it will change to LIVE.

At this time you will have the option to BOOST your ad by clicking on the orange mega phone. If you ever want to adjust your description or add/ change pictures click the Edit Pencil. When you are finished with your changes hit Submit Ad and await approval like the first time you submitted. Your ad will show PENDING until approval is done.

To view your ad as others will see it on the website, click the Eye Icon.

Ads expire after 30 days, but you can re-submit them for another 30 days. Click the edit pencil and adjust anything you need to before RENEWING.

You can also DELETE your ad at any time by clicking on the garbage can.

To find and edit your ad later, follow these steps. First click on the profile icon.

Then click on the menu to find Your Ads.
